Frequently Asked Questions

Q: I would like to participate in the Bizarre Map Challenge however I just graduated in December and am no longer a student. Can any exceptions be made?
A: Unfortunately not.

Q: I am interested in participating in the Bizarre Map Challenge, but since I am a senior and it is my last semester in undergrad I am not taking a full load of courses. Can any exception be made?
A: Yes. The Bizarre Map Challenge Committee will make exceptions for graduating seniors that are not, as of this semester, considered full-time students. If chosen for the top ten, these individuals will be required to show proof of graduation status.

Q: Will all entries be available for viewing?
A: No, only the top ten will be featured on the web site for public voting purposes.

Q: Can I vote for my own map once public voting opens?
A: Yes, you can vote for your own map if it is selected for the top ten by judges. However we ask that each person votes only once.

Q: Can I use a map that I created for a class in the competition?
A: Yes. As long as the map is your original work and you created it by yourself, it qualifies.
